The event saw a styling masterclass by Vogue Magazine’s Senior Fashion Editor, Priyanka Kapadia where she spoke about the upcoming trends to look out for. According to her, monochrome is hot this season with the same shade from top to toe or different shades of the same colour put together to create a look.
In footwear, one needs to experiment with different textures instead of going with the Ballet flats.
She also said that the 70s fashion must be embraced this season with the likes of flared pants and comfy silhouettes along with investing in fabrics like velvet and coloured jackets/sweaters for a vibrant look.
For the corporate crowd who wish to head to party straight from work, she suggested wearing a lacy cami top underneath the coat instead of the usual cotton shirts to work. This way, one can get party ready by just taking off the formal coat and adding a clutch and high heels to complement it.
