The Hook is a casual dining restaurant serving Continental, North Indian and Asian cuisine with an in-house microbrewery. It is located in sector 29 market with the nearest metro station being Iffco Chowk.

The place emphasizes on sourcing fresh seafood and bringing it to the plate along with some Paleo dishes. It is a good place for seafood lovers as they can get a huge variety of the same, which includes fish, lobster, crab, octopus etc. These arrive within a day from the source unlike the usual timeline of a month.
It has a lounge along with an air-conditioned terrace and a coastal feel to it.

The crab meat crostini was delicious and served in the form of a Bruschetta topped with minced crab meat.
The crunchy Tiger prawns served with a dip in a glasses were bigger in size than the usual ones served at restaurants. They also tasted fresh and not dry.
The crispy calamari were fried squids which can suffice as a great snack to munch upon.

The Grouper Tikka and whole White Snapper fish were the seafood items of the main course which also included Paleo chicken,Pashtooni Dal, Chilli garlic Butter Chicken, Chicken and saffron tangine ,Thai curry with rice ,Cottage cheese Fenugreek along with Laccha Parantha.

The Paleo chicken was claimed to be organic but it tasted somewhat dry and hard.
The Grouper Fish Tikka tasted nice although I am not a fan of this variety.
The whole White Snapper fish was served on a boat shaped plating with a huge portion size and tasted fresh.
The butter chicken was well cooked with the chicken being tender.
The Paneer wasn’t up to the mark while the Dal tasted average.

We were served an indulgent Dark chocolate Mudcake and Banoffe Cheesecake which had flavours reminiscent of Banoffe Pie. We were told that it’s a paleo dessert which had sugar replaced with honey.
